We are just under two weeks away from the February 3 and 4, Twilight Snowshoe event at the UW-Richland Campus Foundation Smart Farm. Pre-registration is important to select the time you would like to snowshoe and you can do so at the link below.
We were sad to cancel our January Twilight Snowshoe experience due to the poor conditions. However, we promised good news, and here it is! We are offering the same experience the full moon weekend of February 3-4. You can see the full details at our link in bio. Remember, prior registration is important and your credit card is not charged until we can confirm conditions are adequate to hold the event.
We took a couple of our lodging guests, Noah and Kira, to experience the madness that is “kidding season” at our tour partner’s, Chad and Robin’s farm. Hands on feeding the kids and milking the goats was on the schedule, the hardest part? Keeping track of which of the 35 kids had been fed and who hadn’t. Thank you Robin and Chad!
Our artwork is finally hung in the Mighty Pine Cabin!
Nothing gives us more satisfaction than a great review. We strive to make our guests comfortable and help them connect with our local businesses and that effort always gets noticed.
This is a good news-bad news post. Bad news first, we are forced to postpone this weekend’s Twilight Snow Shoe event at the UW-Richland Foundation’s Smart Farm due to poor conditions. Unfortunately, the recent weather system brought rain and warm temperatures, both elements not conducive to keeping a snow pack adequate for snowshoeing or even hiking.
